» » Exploring the Beauty of Cambodia by Road

It was a great experienced and what a way it was to start my engrossing journey from Thailand to Cambodia which commenced with ever refreshing Thai massage.
I still remember the noon that clutched with expert fingers and rushed quietly through the nerves and muscle to re-energise my entire body and as I was about to fall asleep after such a prominence of hand I was alarmed to discover the wonders of Cambodia.

Although we spend more than a day while travelling the walks of the Bangkok what mesmerised me after reaching the walls of Cambodia was its beautiful location of Aranyaprathet which was nurtured perfectly between the limit of Thailand and Cambodia.

Although if you wish to travel here from Bangkok then there are several service of buses and trains which would take just a few hours to reach the town but we decided to walk through the long passage in order to the know the town better. While making our way we passed through several villages and amongst those pristine hamlets the name of Nakhon Nayok requires special mention.

When I define my journey the very interesting thing I understood was neither we were in neither rush to enjoy the course nor we had limit of time to tick the list we had charted. While walking the distance I paused at the doors of small workshop where artefacts made out of mango wood took me by surprise and it was just as I had passed the wonders I was offered the gentle moment to take on nervous water sports.

Since I was enjoying the call we realised the sun has set apart and it was a moment for us to return to our golf resort where we stayed for a night to experience the better journey of tomorrow.

It was fine morning again and I was off the road to meet the lines of Aranyaprathet and while we were riding we decided to stop at Century old palace turned hospital where we were given an opportunity to reveal the historic Thai massage and were also graced with a chance to sneak into ancient Thai medicine and herbs. This was exceptionally followed by amazing Thai cuisine before we were on to explore the border market of Klong Luek in Aranyaprathet.

The market there seems endless as many shopkeeper were there selling their accessories in very minimum ask. Although we were warned not to buy such products but the efficient cost and amazing outlines fail to stop my fellow partners to buy goods from there who took a grand initiative to pack everything from local shopkeepers who were mostly Vietnamese and Cambodian.

After visiting the site I quickly made my way to food market where I was shocked to see the colourful crowd coming in to buy the pink eggs, crabs, vegetables and fruits. The market was very lively and every seller out there had something different to offer to its customer.

Since I was clicking the snaps and enjoying the busy environment I witnessed the dying tire of sun and I quickly walked out to spend my night. The next morning was again affluent as we headed towards the Pot Poi Immigration Checkpoint. Although it took a considerable amount of time to authorise the official work what I did I wandered around and all I witnessed was temples, casinos and resorts.
Finally the hour of patience was broken down and we were into bus to reach our next destination Siem Reap. The road to Siem Reap was 105 km and while riding our way I witnessed the shops with painted Buddhas stood out in the clutter.

Soon I came across many passing schools and bright temples and realised the smooth way without any call of traffic. While one my may I witnessed many rice mills and rice fields which was soon accompanied by the beauty of lily ponds and farmers. I took my eyes off and barely realised any call after that as I was off to sleep to relish the glory in my dreams.
