Fort Kochi It is a historical spot and the most visited place by tourists.It houses many attractions such as Chinese Fishing Nets,Mattancherry Palace and Santa Cruz Basilica.
Mattancherry Palace Mattancherry Palace lies in Fort Kochi area. It is also known as Dutch palace and was originally built by the Portuguese after grabbing the city of Kochi from the Dutch in the year 1557.Later on,it was gifted by the Portuguese to Raja Veera Kerala Varma of Cochin and again changed hands from the Portuguese to the Dutch. It is most of the most famous and visited spot in Fort Kochi area.
Jewish Synagogue :
It is one of the oldest synagogue in commonwealth countries and still in use.It is quite popular amongst tourists.
Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica It was a church built originally by the Portuguese and later elevated to level of Cathedral by Pope Paul IV in the year 1558.
Bolgatty Palace It is located in the scenic Bologaty Island in Kochi and houses a heritage resort.
St.Francis Church It is the oldest European church in India and was built originally in the year 1503.

Railways The city has two major railway stations,i.e Ernakulam Junction and Ernakulam Town.It is very well connected with all destinations/major cities through out the country.
Airports Kochi International Airport is well connected with various destinations within and outside the country. It is the busiest airport in Kerala and has provision of handling a large amount of international and domestic cargo and air traffic movement.

Climate: Kochi has a tropical monsoon climate and has more or less very little difference between day time and night time temperatures. There is no significant difference in temperatures between seasons,i.e seasonal variation is very less. It usually gets rainfall in two phases,i.e South West Monsoon during the months of June till September and North East Monsoon during the months of October till December
Best Time to Visit:
Kochi is best visited through out the year but summer months,i.e April and May can be uncomfortable on account of high humidity.
