Kanyakumari is an important pilgrimage spot located in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The statue was opened on 1st January in the year 2000 for tourists.
Kanyakumari Beach:is a beautiful beach with multi coloured sands. The sea shore is rocky and there is a lighthouse to enhance the beauty of the place. The beach is famous for its breathtaking views of sunset and sunrise.
